A CAF scheme will be proposed on Monday 28th October 5.00 PM at Jarrow Town Hall by Geraldine and she says:
“ I have done extensive consultation with all parties concerned, the fence will be on Highways land with their approval and as I have described when the hedge is established the fence can be removed. We cannot stop access to the private land hence the gate and the land owner is happy to proceed. We just want the swans to be safe and drivers / Police to not have to deal with them escaping onto the road it is very fast!” HERE’S THE PROPOSAL.
